The Colorado Lottery introduced Powerball on August 2, 2001. This was the first multi-state game available in Colorado. Powerball joined the lottery in time for the second largest jackpot run in Powerball history, reaching a whopping $293 million dollars. One of the biggest Powerball jackpots ever won was $340 million won by a single man in Oregon.
